Prowly | 20 October 2022

AUSTIN, Texas (USA) - Re:start Banking has been chosen by the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) to join the 2022 cohort for the Inclusive Fintech 50 (IF50), an annual competition that selects the most promising inclusive fintech companies from around the globe.
IF50 is a global innovation competition that aims to identify and elevate cutting-edge emerging inclusive fintechs that have the potential to drive financial inclusion. The initiative is implemented by CFI and the 2022 theme is “Making Digitalization Count.”Re:start was selected in large part for the work it is doing to open bank accounts for refugees in the US. Having a bank account gives refugees access to basic services like paying bills, making deposits, and sending money to others. It can take refugees up to 6 months to receive a Social Security Number (SSN) and it is extremely difficult to open an account without one.
"The Re:start team is honored to be recognized for the impactful work we are doing to support the refugee and immigrant community in America. Our mission is to continually provide the best financial products to those who have been traditionally underserved by the banking system." Tanya Gorzey, Partnership Manager at Re:start Banking
About Re:start Banking Re:start is an impact banking app built to serve refugees, immigrants, and the underbanked in America.
